Lamp Series

My newest concentration is an oil painting series of various street lamp night scapes. In these paintings, I pay a special attention to the mood of these different lamp scenes in places that I’ve lived. I encounter these luminous moments when walking home from school, going for an evening stroll, or driving home from an event. Although each vary in their color palette, environment, and season, they all instilled a different subliminal feeling when I encountered them, that I hope to capture in these paintings.
